I could not put this book down! The premise is cute and heartwarming as can be, and the characters are real and wonderful and I found myself smiling the whole way through. Ellie and Hunter (I'm calling dibs on him right now, by the way) had the best chemistry and watching them fight it was so much fun. Watching them give in was even better. Hunter's little omission kept me riveted and Ellie sticking to her guns on a promise she made to herself was admirable. From beginning to end this book was pure delight and I can't recommend this sweet, sexy, romantic story highly enough!

There are loads of reviews so I'll just say that I enjoyed the book but it had its imperfections.

The h's man-ban was annoying and endless as another reviewer pointed out. We got it the first time! Secondly I found the whole business about the H writing to the h and then stopping for a month before they finally met an interesting premise but I felt it all got lost in the deception later. I really found the H's reputation as a player edged out the 'decent guy' part and I wasn't really sure I liked him overall.
I LOVE THIS BOOK! Ophelia London writes the stories that I love to read. She nailed it again this time. After i fell in love with Definitely, Maybe In Love, she became one of my most fave authors. And this book did not disappoint. There's a reason why I love her books and it's because she writes beautiful and romantic love stories that will make you fall in love over and over again... And those guys she created, wow, those are the kind of guys that you you will definitely root for. Loved this book. I'm gonna find another Ophelia London's book now... )
Super sexy bad boy blown away by the girl he was emailing sight unseen . She, of course , has no idea he's one and the same when they meet. She only knows of his player reputation and he wants her to believe that he's changed. Fun times, quick read, intelligently scripted.
I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn’t force myself to like these characters. The conversations made them sound like teenagers. Everyone loves it when a bad boy changes to a good guy but he went from a few days away from sleeping with a stranger to five more days and being in love. Not buying it.
I loved this story!! I'm a writer as well and this was BEAUTIFUL writing. If I could have finished it in one sitting, I would have. As it was, I finished it in less than two days (dang work and college!!) The characters were realistic and seemed to come alive on the page. The plot was beautiful and moving and I was soon attached to what was happening. I HIGHLY recommend this book!!! )

This is a sweet, easy read revolving around a woman done wrong so many times she has sworn off men for a year. Ellie is a ballerina who went pro but retired young due to an injury. She now teaches at her own studio with her best friend, Jane. Her brother, Sam, is a soldier injured in Afghanistan and now home recovering. She meets him for lunch at the Warrior Station and is introduced to his best friend, the Great White Hunter, so called because of his ease in getting women. She doesn't realize that "Hunter" is just a nickname, or that he is Charlie, the Staff Sargaent she emailed with for several months after Sam was hurt. Charlie lets the misperception slide, wanting her to know him for himself rather than from Sam's tall tales. But the longer he lets it go, the bigger the lie of omission becomes, especially to Ellie, who has been lied to before.
I enjoyed this book and would recommend it for readers who like their romances on the tame side.

I finished Falling for her Soldier by Ophelia London and I must say that I wasn't let down. This story has everything that makes a Bliss story bliss.

Anyway, Ellie Bell has given up being with men for a year and she's approaching the year mark when she meets Charlie Johannson. However, she doesn't know it's Charlie, because when finally meets him face to face he's introduce to her as Hunter. Charlie use to be a big player, but after the last deployment something happen that changed him and he no longer wanted to be know as Mr. Big Game Hunter. Now Charlie is trying to win Ellie as Hunter. He actually wants to tell her the truth, but he was given bad advice so keeps up the Hunter act.

I found Falling for her Soldier delightful. It was fun to watch Charlie try to get Ellie to look at him as a decent guy than Mr. Big Game Hunter. Some of the things Charlie did for Ellie were really sweet. Even help her stay true to her goal. I love how he tries to do the honorable thing. However, I was waiting when when the Charlie/Hunter secret was going to happen, because it was bound to happen when he wasn't prepare. Overall, a heart melting good read. So, if you are looking for that feel good story, you might want to read Falling for her Soldier.
