Until You Judith McNaught 9780552143547 Books

Having only recently discovered this author, I read Something Wonderful and Almost Heaven, and really enjoyed them. In comparison, this one was a disappointment. I could get past the comically absurd beginning that starts with an accidental killing and ends with amnesia, but there was no getting past the awful person that was Stephen.

Sheridan was an enjoyable character, except when she turned into a doormat, and that happened way too often where Stephen was concerned. And when her so-called friends told her that Stephen hated her and it would be up to her to humiliate herself to win him back...WHAT? Run for the hills, girl!

I could maybe (maybe) get past Stephen's total d*****baggery, if he'd begged for forgiveness in the end, but no! He never redeemed himself in my eyes. I hated him so much, I wanted Sheridan to run away with Nicki.

Until You Judith McNaught 9780552143547 Books Reviews

Ms McNaught has yet again captured the hit in the Westmoreland series. Strong characters. Great storyline with some laugh out loud moments. Her books keep drawing me back. I have read this nook 3 times and I know I will read it again and again.
Another Westmoreland masterpiece! I could not drop the novel until I finished it even though I needed to sleep for work the next day. I discovered the Author with the Westmoreland series and I lovvveeee her storytelling!

Thank you Judith for making my days and nights so magical ❤️
Just like all Judith McNaught’s historical novels, Until You was utterly captivating.

McNaught knows how to suck a person into a story till they feel they’re really there inside the pages.

My only problem with her is that even though all her Hs are strong and proud, her hs are not. They’re doormats. I wish just once she’d write a heroine who knows how to set a guy straight.

Still if you let that problem deter you from reading her novels, then your honestly missing out big time.
As the sequel to Whitney, My Love, this is Stephen Westmoreland's story. Judith McNaught has a way of creating these amazing female characters that you just grow to love. Sheridan Bromleigh is no exception with her interesting childhood and her strong and feisty spirit. We get to know her so well, and as with Whitney in the previous book, she is a woman to be reckoned with. The Westmoreland men are no slouches either. They are proud and handsome and hard to tame. These characters are so much fun to read about and their stories have many twists and turns and ups and downs. I laughed with them and felt their pain, but always felt their journey to finding love engrossing and entertaining. I will continue to be a big fan of Judith McNaught and look forward to reading many more of her novels.
After reading Whitney, My Love (The Westmoreland Dynasty Saga Book 1) I jumped to this one, since A Kingdom of Dreams (The Westmoreland Dynasty Saga Book 2) is a prequel. I couldn't put it down. Well rounded characters. Original plot. Lots of drama. We even have a glimpse into Whitney's live (from book 1).
I have read 3 of her books and it seems like she over does someone's personality in each of her books. It Kingdom of Dreams it was Jennifer who took things too far. It Whitney My Love it was Whitney who was horrible the first part of the book. The second part of the book it was Clayton who went way over board. In this book, both Sheridan and Stephen were great until the end. Then she had Stephen acting like Clayton. He is mad at her and doesn't give her a chance to explain. Though I can understand why he is mad, as Sheridan took off and never came back to explain anything. However she never let him explain anything either. The reason why it lands a little more on him is because of his temper. Which is where she over did it in this story.

I disagree with the lower reviews. I didn't think everything was Stephen's issue, nor did I fine it boring or Sheridan boring, stupid or weak. I do find that books about lords and lady's tent to be more boring as there is not too much excitement in most of them as they all about balls and popularity. You do not usually have the action type stuff going on which adds a little more excitement to it.

All in all a good read as I like her writing style. I just wish she would quit going over the top on someone being too stubborn, or having too much of a temper, etc... There is also little sex for those that do like that. I refer more. You have one quick scene not very detailed at almost the end, and one which is more detail about touching but not about the other parts at the end.

Sex content low.
